Description
Motion-Systems Qubic System - Belt Tensioner BT1 - Multi-purpose, dual channel, direct drive seat belt tensioner

Note: All BT1 units supplied by us have the ‘new’, quieter power supply unit. Please note: Delivery does not include an IEC power cable – please order separately (only available from us for German and compatible sockets with type E+F safety plugs) or purchase one yourself that complies with the standards in your country (See image ‘Power Requirements’ for requirements)!

The Polish manufacturer Motion Systems, which has developed the “Qubic System” motion platforms among other things, has launched a new sensation: the QS-BT1 belt tensioner.

And we are rather proud of this development ourselves, as Force2Motion was a driving force behind the creation of this add-on. With input from the racing and flight sim communities, we have persistently campaigned for Motion Systems to build what we consider to be an indispensable extension for the Qubic systems. And now Motion Systems has unveiled this product, which can also be fitted to many stand-alone cockpits without motion. And of course, it’s a great addition for those who already have ‘everything’. Well done, guys!

In combination with the BT1V3 adapter we developed, the Seat Belt Tensioner can be mounted on both a Next Level Racing V3 and virtually any other seat console. The function of a seat slider for longitudinal seat adjustment is fully retained.

More info and photos: https://qubicsystem.com/product/qs-bt1/# - Please be sure to follow the instructions on installation (seat height, belt openings on the seats) etc.!

About:

Powered by the same technology as the stunning QS-220, the QS-BT1 is a multi-purpose dual channel direct drive seatbelt tightener that enhances immersion in racing simulations like no other device in its class and price range. It not only complements the force feedback of the direct drive steering wheels, but also enhances the overall experience of the already highly immersive QS motion platforms and can even be used as a standalone, independent device if required.

Simulation of braking, lateral acceleration, cornering at high speed, wheel lock and loss of traction are among the key features of QS-BT1. Asymmetric engine vibrations and road effects such as rumble strips are also available for games that support them. Although QS-BT1 was mainly developed for racing simulations, with its 200 N force per channel it can also be successfully used in flight simulators to give you the feeling of gigantic forces during high acceleration manoeuvres.

Specifications:
  • Power source: 4A/115VAC, 2A/230VAC
  • Rated power: 321 W
  • Inrush current: 20A/115VAC, 40A/230VAC

  • Weight of the main unit: 12 kg / 26.46 lbs
  • Weight of the power supply unit: 2.8 kg / 6.17 lbs
  • Dimensions of the packaging box: 660 x 255 x 180 mm / 25.98 x 10.04 x 7.09 in
  • Weight of the packaging box: 18kg / 39.68 lbs
Scope of delivery:
  • 1x two-channel seat belt tensioner
  • 1x power supply unit
  • 1x cable set (without power cable!)
  • 1x set of screws
  • 1x universal bracket for aluminium profile
Optional accessories (recommended):
  • Emergency stop switch (motion lock) - is not required if other Qubic systems are present, as the system can be controlled via an (existing) motion lock switch.
  • Note: All BT1 units supplied by us have the ‘new’, quieter power supply unit. Please note: Delivery does not include an IEC power cable – please order separately (only available from us for German and compatible sockets with type E+F safety plugs) or purchase one yourself that complies with the standards in your country (See image ‘Power Requirements’ for requirements)!
Note: For the use of seat movers (such as the NLR Motion Platform V3), the QS-BT1 can only be installed on the upper frame of the motion platform near the pivot point and reduces the permissible user weight. A multi-point harness is required and is not included in the scope of delivery.

Force2Motion adapter for Qubic BT1 Belt-Tensioner...

Force2Motion adapter for the Qubic BT1 belt tensioner on the NLR Motion Platform V3, Qubic H13 Challenger, Force2Motion seat frame or other seat consoles

The Qubic BT1 seat belt tensioner cannot be combined directly with a Next-Level-Racing motion platform, as no mounting bracket is provided as standard. Mounting it on an aluminium-profile cockpit in combination with a seat that protrudes far rearwards, such as the NLR ES1, also causes problems. The belt is not routed vertically and therefore rubs against the seat. Furthermore, the standard mounting on the cockpit has the disadvantage that the BT1 does not move with the seat when it is moved forwards or backwards. We have this solution for that.

Motion platform, belt tensioner, seat slider etc. NOT included.

The same technology as the stunning QS-220, the QS-BT1 is a multi-purpose dual channel direct drive seatbelt tightener that enhances immersion in racing simulations like no other device in its class and price range.

About:

The QS-CH1 is an innovative training product designed for advanced simulation of various modes of transport. Its compact design based on the technology of linear actuators makes the driver move to the virtual world with the mapping of stimuli from the real world.

Electric actuators generate precise vibrations in real time and reproduce the finest details while driving – such as curves and obstacles on the racetrack. The lightweight and compact structure makes it easy to transport as well as service for multiple and variable installation.

QS-CH1 is a brand new, modular, and flexibly configurable training product dedicated for advanced land vehicles and city car driving simulation. QS-CH1 is a part of the Qubic System product’s series. By using a number of expansion accessories, including manipulators and dedicated peripherals, it is possible to quickly build a simulator for future drivers or vehicle operators. The motion system consists of 3 DOF platform with electric actuators that provide cues for vehicle acceleration, road curvature and obstacles such as sidewalks and potholes. QS-CH1 only needs a 1.5 square meter place, and it is ideal for applications where the key is to reproduce the ergonomics of the original vehicle within a compact and mobile form. Power cabinets are located in the lower part of the QS-CH1 motion platform, under the cockpit, which significantly reduces the usable space and improves safety.

The motion system QS-CH1 gives the possibility to fit and install various dashboards and steering wheels in the easy way. This product opened up new possibilities for driving schools, car manufacturers and people running R&D projects related to land vehicles.

QS-CH1 device is a modular, and configurable training product dedicated for advanced land vehicles and city car driving simulation. Users who already have a motion base (motion platform) can only use a floor with seat and steering wheel mounting brackets, which can be easily and quickly adapted to individual projects.
