The Traction Plus is truly a world class product designed to finally close that gap between the track/tarmac and simulation with a product and experience like no other motion simulator before it. The sliding concept and technology has only ever been seen before in the highest level professional race teams often with budgets in the hundreds of thousands of dollars or in many cases over million dollar budgets.
The Traction Plus was designed and developed in collaboration with a world class motion engineering team to deliver an unrivalled motion experience. To achieve the ultimate realism and precision this has required completely unique technology and engineering with a product designed from ground up over 4 years that includes over 2000 components. The platform has been designed and developed purely for simulation rather than just using commercial actuators and adapting to simulation. The Traction Plus is incredibly more than just a rear traction loss system and designed to combine with the V3 motion platform to provide a ground breaking motion simulator experience.
Racing
The Traction Plus moves the whole cockpit and delivers both understeer and oversteer in the most realistic and precise way possible.
Based on feedback from professional drivers during product development the understeer component of a motion platform which is usually only found in 6DOF systems is absolutely critical in accurately and precisely simulating the vehicle. Feeling both understeer and oversteer the platform can be used effectively for driver/racer training particularly for cornering and rally, feeling what is happening with both rear and front of the vehicle. Even the differences between rear wheel drive, front wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles can be felt with the precise feedback delivered through the Traction Plus platform. The Motion Platform V3 and Traction Plus combine to provide accurate vehicle feedback for front wheel lock up meaning you will feel vibration as well as front of the vehicle sliding out of the corner when too much brake pressure is applied. (also applicable for rear wheel lock up depending on vehicle bias)

Flight
As with the Motion Platform V3 that’s had professional aviators including: airline, private, military, and flight training institutions and universities, the Traction Plus can add further realism by allowing the pilot to experience the flight characteristics of the aircraft more realistically.
The Pitch and Roll axis simulation from the Motion Platform V3 is augmented with the Traction Plus to provide the third axis of Yaw to generate an incredibly genuine sensation of flight.
The simulator also replicates the motions of landing gear operation, combat/cannon fire, ground movement, turbulence, and crosswind effects and can be paired with augmented reality/VR to create an unparalleled level or realism. Smoother rudder operation can be trained effectively with the combination of yaw and pivot.

The Traction Plus comes complete with click and play Next Level Racing® Platform manager software specifically made for the V3 and Traction Plus platforms using telemetry data to give the most realistic and accurate profile cues. This is professional grade software developed by world leading motion engineers ensuring absolute precision in delivering feedback from the game, without lag, in real time. Whilst being professional software it’s designed to be used by a even a novice with simple to use dashboard to start your game and being able to change all settings at a click of a button. For those users that do like getting more hands on with each setting the profiles for the platform are highly customisable.
Having strong relationships with software developers that are behind racing and flight titles this allows constant updates and compatible titles being added to the Next Level Racing® Platform manager as new games are released.
Events, VR & Commercial Use
The Next Level Racing® Traction Plus platform combined with VR is simply an incredible experience for both racing, flight or even amusement software for Rollercoasters or speedboats! Some of our favourite titles include Assetto Corsa®, Dirt Rally®, iRacing®, Project Cars® and Xplane®. For VR companies developing their own software, SDK is available at an extra cost. The increased angle and range provided in the seat brackets, wheel and pedal plate caters for users of all sizes and driving styles by giving more adjustability than ever before.
Innovative Flex-Free NLR Seat Slider & Bracket System:
The innovative Next Level Racing® Seat Sliding System has been designed and engineered to
eliminate the issue of flex found in conventional seat sliders used in simulation. The NLR ratchets are used to easily slide your seat back and forth to find the desired position for a flex free racing experience. The Next Level Racing® Seat Brackets are constructed from
5mm carbon steel to provide the rigidity required for high end sim racers and the new design provides more adjustability than ever before to support
multiple seating positions with 98 adjustment options. The optional Next Level Racing® ES1 Elite Sim Racing Seat is the recommended seat to use with the Elite range of cockpits as the seat has been designed and optimised for elite sim racers.
Universal Sliding Pedal Plates:
The sliding pedal plates have been designed to provide easy and quick distance adjustments for pedals as well as compatibility with the continuously expanding pedal market. Equipped with 2 slotted 5mm carbon steel pedal plates with double precision folds, this setup ensures supreme rigidity but straightforward compatibility. The pedal tray area has been designed to offer more angle, height and distance adjustments to accommodate for a wider range of driving positions. The laser etched markings on the aluminium profile assist with making accurate adjustments.
Custom Profile and Post Anodizing:
When it comes to aluminium profiles, they are not all the same quality and strength. The F-GT Elite features a premium thick-walled profile and a custom NLR 100mm x 40mm profile for the base of the cockpit, with a total weight of 53kg. This custom shape of the base profile provides extra strength and refined aesthetics. The post anodized carbon grey profile is achieved by a chemical balance and anodizing process that not only looks visually stunning but also provides a scratch resistant finish compared to your typical black profile that is prone to scratching. The premium
post anodizing process means that even the ends of the profiles and holes are anodized for visual perfection as well as long term protection. The post anodizing process as a last step also prevents having sharp shavings/edging ensuring safe setup of your new cockpit.
Design should be beautiful & functional:
The F-GT Elite cockpit provides a long list of unique custom engineered components to provide users with the highest quality and performing product on the market. Rather than adapting industrial off the shelf components, we are pioneering how aluminium profile cockpits should be designed. No industrial square brackets are required, profile pieces are pre-machined to allow for quicker, easier and stronger connections. We focused on the finer details like the black electroplated premium spring ball T-slot nuts and the custom NLR end caps to combine for improved functionality. The premium finish and materials, custom components and market leading design come together for a visual masterpiece.
Motion Ecosystem:
Adding motion has never been easier as the F-GT Elite cockpit is compatible with all Next Level Racing® Motion products and designed for quick and simple installation with pre machined holes and included brackets.
NLR Height adjustable Shock Absorption Feet:
Uneven floors should never spoil your simulation experience. We have kept this in mind when designing our height adjustment feet allowing independent adjustments for the height of each corner of your cockpit. The custom designed feet are not only a major aesthetical improvement on typical industrial feet commonly used in the simulation market, they also Include TPE shock absorption plugs designed to absorb vibrations and provide grip on slippery surfaces. For user experience, the custom Next Level Racing® Safety Step included with the cockpit allows easier access in and out of the cockpit for drivers
Easy of assembly and use:
By designing custom components and using advanced manufacturing for precision machined holes in the aluminium profile this allows
easier assembly and more rigid connection as the profile bolts together. The improved design means that the hassles of aligning fiddly corner brackets are a thing of the past. Combining the ease of assembly with the laser etched line markings on the profile help you to get racing quicker than any other aluminium cockpit before. Each piece is individually placed in our custom foam packaging to ensure the safety of the product while in transport and providing a seamless user experience from the time the packaging is opened.
